Award Winning Teri Stokes, as Happy Heart the Clown

Hi, my name is Teri Stokes, or Happy Heart the Clown. Years ago my grandfather taught me how to make balloon animals. As a way of telling stories at my church, I became a clown. I have been a volunteer clown at my church since 1990. In the summer of 1998. I attended the Cheerful Clown Alley Clown School, and in August graduated to become a REAL professional clown. I do birthday parties; Preschool Programs; Company Picnics; Church Programs; and Special Events. Some of the things I do at these events include: Comic skits and stories, Magic, Balloon Animals; Face Painting, story telling, and games.

I also volunteer at The Texas Children's Hospital almost ever week; and dedicate many hours a year to volunteering at all sorts of events with the Cheerful Clown Alley.

In October of 1998 I competed at the Texas Clown Assoc, and won an award of excellence in makeup and wardrobe competition.  In 2000 I won third place in the make-up competition at the Clowns of America International Convention. In 2005 I won Best All Around Clown as well as first place in all three balloon events and fourth place in make up.

I've won lots of awards in Clowning and balloon twisting, and have graduated to become a Certified Balloon Artist. I am now being sought after as a balloon instructor.
